The People Behind the Mission

Meet our team.

Selah Fellowship is built by people who believe deeply in the power of pause, community, and transformation — rooted in purpose and planted in love.

Founder
Our Founder
Chap. Charlene F. Wright, BBA, M.Div., BCCe
Founder & Executive Director

Chaplain Charlene F. Wright is the visionary heart behind Selah Fellowship. With a background spanning ministry, chaplaincy, pastoral counseling, and hospice care, her decade of compassionate service has touched the lives of children, families, and communities across Connecticut.

Her work began around a kitchen table, with a quiet dream and an unshakeable belief that healing happens in the right environment. That dream became Selah Fellowship, a growing movement of camps, gatherings, retreats, and outreach programs rooted in love and purpose.

Chap. Wright brings together trauma-informed care, spiritual guidance, and the 8P Framework (Protect, Profess, Promote, Probity, Provide, Prioritize, Planted in God, Presence) to create spaces where every person, from the youngest camper to the returning citizen, is seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

She is the published author of Planted in Purpose: A Life Fully Rooted.
